Privacy statement

When you fill in the contact form, we receive your name, e-mail address, the type of request and your message, plus your company and phone number if you fill them in. We ask for nothing more. When you contact us by e-mail, phone, WhatsApp or social media, we have the details you share there yourself.

Only to contact you about your request, to make an appointment and to prepare a quote. We do not sell your data, we do not send a newsletter and we do not use your data for advertising.

If you become a customer, we keep your data for as long as the order runs and for seven years after that, because the Dutch tax authority requires this for our records. If you do not become a customer, we delete your request within a year.

We use a few suppliers that make the website and the mail technically possible:

• Vercel: hosting of the website.
• Resend: sending the mail from the contact form.
• Sneljewebsiteonline: building and maintaining the website, a copy of each form submission in its client dashboard so no request gets lost, and the management of the statistics.
• Google Analytics: visitor statistics, see below.

Agreements on data handling are in place with each of them. We share nothing else with third parties, unless the law requires it.

This website uses Google Analytics to see how many people visit the site, which pages they read and how they arrive. For this a cookie is placed (_ga) that is kept for at most two years. We also register when someone clicks a mail, phone, WhatsApp, brochure or dealer link or sends the contact form, so it is clear which pages really help.

Google Analytics is set up in a privacy-friendly way according to the guide of the Dutch Data Protection Authority: there is a data processing agreement with Google, data sharing and all advertising features are switched off. No advertising cookies are placed and no advertising is done. This way of measuring does not require consent, which is why you see no cookie banner.

You may view, correct or delete your data, and you may object to its use. A mail to info@sturdy-legs.com is enough. You hear back within four weeks. If we cannot resolve it together, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
